If this ocean doesn’t live nor do we. The role it plays in the whole earth’s ecosystem is critical on a number of fronts. And however small, my intention is to be part of the effort to spread awareness and aid active efforts toward conservation of this critical body of water..

It is a big bite and deep subject. From whales to water temperature and sea food and back, Jimmy Pacific will feature education and entertainment about the Pacific and its cultures and ecosystems.

Every item purchased helps in this effort. We contribute to organizations that share our mission. Every sale makes a one to three dollar contribution. As a self bootstrapping busines we will get better and be able to make larger efforts as the business grows. Your purchase matters. All our items make perfect gift items.

An ocean bigger than our ability to imagine it

The Pacific Ocean is of a scale larger than any one person’s perception of size. They can claim the ability, but it’s pure hubris. The ocean is habitat to over one million species and covers 50% of the earth’s surface. It should be worshiped and respected as the primary water of this globe. Home to billions of creatures, unfathomable depths and in constant motion, the water and its interaction with humans is beyond understanding. It is a source sound and fury and is a balance of chemistry and physics. It is so essential that to even speculate on it being gone, defies imagination.

When such a source of life is threatened and mistreated there comes a time when humans finally have to act in mutual benefit. This enterprise is aimed at trying to conserve and educate with part of the cost of our goods. We’re trying and this is the start.

By way of introduction and qualification and mission, I am James Wills, traveler and author (the current incarnation). I have seen enough of our amazing planet including over 50 transpacific trips to begin to understand how precious and fragile it is. My mission is to help preserve and conserve the whole ecosystem for the benefit of beings.
